Blackjack Etiquette and Manners

Blackjack, like any other games, has its own etiquette and rituals. This article talks in length about the etiquette and manners one need to know while playing Blackjack.
  • Learn blackjack hand signals before you start playing the game.

  • It is a good blackjack etiquette to tip the dealer from time to time, especially if you are winning the game. One nice way to tip the dealer is by placing a wager of his/her behalf. For placing a bet in dealer’s behalf, just place an additional wager outside your betting circle, in the dealer’s direction.
  • Avoid drinking at the blackjack table. You are there to play the game not to have drinks. So avoid drinking or ordering drinks while playing.
  • Keep in mind that most people are there to play blackjack. So don’t talk excessively.
  • Especially don’t tell others how to play the game or try to correct their mistakes. Most online casinos recommend spectators to watch from a reasonable distance so that they are not disturbing the player’s ability to concentrate on the game.
